It's a cult classic for a reason. It's sci fi and it's down home. It's exciting and it's heartwarming. It's got Lance Guest, who was so cute, Catherine Mary Stewart, so cute and Robert Preston, so cute. For a sci fi picture, it's a really cute movie.
I always feel good when I see this movie - and that cannot be said about every sci fi/space movie. It's action adventure and intergalactic war and, still, it's cute!
I can't explain it. All I know is that I love it.
Always have, always will.
Though I did NOT love the musical version I saw on stage in New York. That, I hated.
