Review of The Last Starfighter (1984) by Lucas D — 28 Jun 2008
This is one of the films that defined my childhood. I have very vivid memories of watching this movie over and over again on beta-max, studying every scene, memorizing each line. I recently re-watched it this past weekend, and the same aspect that drew me to it so long ago was still present.
Sure the SFX are laughable, and the plot is much thinner than I remembered, but damn did it bring up great memories while watching it.
