Review of The Last Starfighter (1984) by Matt W — 06 Feb 2009
This movie offers brilliant dialog, enjoyable performances, and a likable script. The effects are more dated than most sci-fi movies of the 80s for one specific reason. This was the first full length major motion picture in which most of the effects were CGI.
Given that, it's quite nice. Characters are genuine.
