Lots of fun and 80s cheese are on display in a movie that feels like something Spielberg would've made at the time. Its more than a Star Wars wannabe and sports visual effects that were very good in their day.
Lance Guest is probably a little too old for the part he's playing, but still brings a lot of youthful enthusiasm to the role. Robert Preston and Dan O'Herlihy are clearly having fun as veteran actors in a movie like this.
