Review of The Last Starfighter (1984) by Terry D — 11 May 2008

I loved this when I was a kid, unfotunately time hasn't been great to it. The cg effects that were inspirational obviously look dated but give them there due they aren't that bad. The problem is that there isn't much space action (most likely due to the expense of the effects) and boils down to one scene at the end. The funny thing is that the earth scenes are better.

Still as a childhood memory it's earns enough respect and is still watchable and a damn site better than a lot of todays shit.
