Review of The Last Starfighter (1984) by Lisa Michelle A — 05 Feb 2010

I love this film! I first saw it when I was 16 and home from school sick. I put my TV on in my room as I couldn't sleep and stumbled across The Last Starfighter. I read what it was about and it didn't sound amazing or anything but decent enough, so I decided to give it a chance, and I was glad that I did! It's now one of my favorites to watch and falls into what I call my "classics".

As that's what it is to me, a classic. It's one of my favorite 80's films. Back in the day Lance Guest was a looker! And a decent actor. He's a favorite of mine now. For it's special effects it's not one of the best films but for the 80's it's not at all bad, to me it's great.

The story is entertaining and enjoyable to watch, and I adore the ending to the film. I was really hoping for the ending that it had. I also found quite alot of it funny too, which I didn't expect.

But I didn't expect alot from this film at all, and was pleasantly surprised throughout. I'll love it forever and recommend it to all.
