This is a showcase of sub-par acting, misplaced sentimentalism and cliched, underwritten characters. Knoxville is embarrassing, Schwarzenegger can't really do warmth (he's horribly miscast in a role that needs a Clint or a Duvall) and the editing and photography are just lazily amateurish.
There's a reason they don't make them like this anymore.
