Review of The Last Stand (2013) by Tom F — 19 Jul 2013
This is Arnie's return to leading-man action-star status, and overall it's an enjoyable flick. The director is the main one to thank for the energy and style on display here, but everyone seems to hold their own on screen.
Arnie plays the sheriff in a Texan/Mexican border town, and he takes on the responsibility of preventing an escaped convict from crossing the border. Lots of guns, crashing cars, and bad guys descend on this little town and they all blow up real nice before it's all said and done.
