Review of The Last Stand (2013) by Jocey D — 18 Jan 2014
Arnie is back! He's kicking ass and taking names... Playing a sheriff Ray Owens in a tiny town close to the Mexican border he has to be the stopgap in the way of a drug criminal headed to Mexico while running from the law.
Sommerton Junction residents are scared and his "deputies" Johnny Knoxville, etc. have to help him hold the enemies at bay. One of the first films Schwarzenegger made after leaving the Governorship in California.
It's a decent action film and makes you laugh at the same time. Some great death scenes plus the plot holds up to a nice finish.
