Review of The Last Shot (2004) by Jeff H — 20 Apr 2008
Any movie that has a dog suicide scene automatically gets three stars. Not the greatest comedic spoof on Hollywood (Get Shorty, The Player and Swimming with Sharks are lightyears better) but it's a worthy effort loosely based on a true story.
The directorial debut of screenwriter Jeff Nathanson! (Catch Me if You Can, The Terminal, the new Indy Jones flick and the mediocre Rush Hour movies) Great DVD commentary by Nathanson and Broderick with an interesting making of doc.
