Review of The Last Samurai (2003) by Lususgreene — 12 May 2011
A surprisingly good movie although no doubt historically inaccurate. It manages to tell a very good story and makes some strong points with good messages. This movie is from that brief time when Tom Cruise was pretending like he might be a relevant actor (Vanila Sky, this movie, one or two others).
Action, drama, and good characters make this a highly enjoyable movie.
