Review of The Last Samurai (2003) by Justin T — 05 Aug 2012
This was a very touching film for the mere element of Cruise's performance. A sense of a wounded soldier finding peace in a place he ended up in for the purpose to kill others, a thing he knows all too well.
In this situation Cruise lit up the screen with plenty of drama and emotion to give a sense of a dark room being lit up and by that I mean he basically found peace in this small village in Japan.
