An Epic True Story of an American Civil War hero who is asked by the newly founded emperor of Japan to head and train thier countrys First Army in the art of Modern Warfare.. But while staying with the emperor he becomes taken by the last family of Samurai's and while "hostage" he learns to love the Samurai culture and decides to fight with the Samurai against the Jappanesse Army during the samurai's last battle for true freedom! Eventhough Tom Cruise is a lunatic scientology wierdo his acting in this movie is one of his best performances!!
