Great movie inspired by the Satsuma Rebellion. Awesome action scenes, the characters were great and worked well together and the romantic element in it was well done and more original. It did a pretty good job on Japanese speech.
The samurai were somewhat romanticized, but it still did better than other American movies on cultural aspects. Showdown in Little Tokyo, I'm referring to you...
