Review of The Last Samurai (2003) by Troy F — 29 May 2012
The Last Samurai is a excellent war drama, and the war scenes are absolutely glorious. Awfully reminiscent of Dances With Wolves, but this film makes the story it's own, and despite some historical inaccuracies that are suspected, this is based on actual history.
Anyone that likes a solid war epic or even Japanese culture will find this entertaining and quite intriguing.
