Review of The Last Samurai (2003) by Jordan P — 25 Oct 2012
My god. Sometimes in life redemption takes all of your pride, hate and suffering to be fulfilled. Honor and Bushido are somethings even on film that can not be wrongfully portraid and this film is no exception.
The most true thing about this movie and quite possibly the saddest as well is that we have to reach the end of our rope in life before we seem to find that there are better days and things ahead of us, as well as things worth fighting for that go beyond materialism.
Before I get too sappy as I always say watch this movie if you truly want to see art imitate life. I have never seen such an epic unfold like this movie did that shows that the biggest bad asses in this life are those who choose to live there life for others and not themselves!!!!!!
