It was really enjoyable re-visiting the film, it has been nearly a decade since I has last seen it & although not as powerful as I remember it, it was a very well done film.
More or less Dances with Wolves in the east but this film delves into the life & lifestyle of ancient samurai.
Tom Cruise was strong in the film & the story is well told & entertaining. Ken Watanabe adds many layers to the film & shame he didn't receive an oscar for his performance.
