Review of The Last Samurai (2003) by Isuru B — 08 May 2011
It's strength does not rely on epic battles or battle cries, but on the underlying themes of philosophy and love. It is with such distinction Tom Cruise delves into the tainted war hero Nathan Algren and it is with such distinction Edward Zwick handles its many elements into a beautiful poetic engulfment.
My favorite movie of all time.
