The Last Samurai is an excellently made movie... I'm a huge Tom Cruise fan and so too am a devoted Martial Arts enthusiast. This movie does an outstanding job at grasping the concept of Bushido, the Japanese culture is understood and displayed with great insight in this film.
The scenery in elegant and beautiful, the Japanese cast are outstanding and there are so many lessons to to be learned in this film. It gets a perfect score from me and may very well be the finest western movie which encapsulates the culture of the warrior from the ancient orient.
