Review of The Last Picture Show (1971) by Myke E — 13 Nov 2007
So I pretty much saw this movie as Napolean Dynamite and Deliverance with sex. It has its genuine moments, but most of the sentimentality is lost in the fact that these people are really horrible, cheating on each other and setting others up to be miserable.
But the role of Sam was brilliantly played and remains the best part of the show.
