A very good film gorgeously shot in black-and-white. Plenty of people you'd recognize 36 years later (Jeff Bridges, Cybil Shepard, Ellen Burstyn, Cloris Leachman, and others). Leachman is the best I've ever seen in a dramatic perfomance that won her an Academy award.
