A movie about the lives of a group of people in small town America of the early 1950's. Just watched it and all I can say is "brilliant". The Last Picture Show is picture perfect. Perhaps not a crowd pleaser though.
If you're looking for a blockbuster look elsewhere. Direction, acting, photography, all wonderfully mastered. A true classic I would recommend to anyone who loves good cinema.
