Review of The Last Picture Show (1971) by Pierre-Damien J — 17 Apr 2008
Peter Bogdanovich's best known film, dealing with the post-WWII / pre-Korean war era in mid-west America, and the transition from rural to urban living, in which youths have difficulties to find an identity and their place and conclict with their seniors.
Quite standard theme, but still difficult to catch for non-Americans.
