This movie was...interesting. I'm surprised this wasn't more controversial when it came out -- Midnight Cowboy was really controversial just 2 years earlier and to me that was not as frank about sex as this was.
Anyway, the film does a good job of portraying the desperation of these characters in this small town. However, I was kinda ambivalent about it pretty much the whole time. Some memorable scenes but overall not that captivating.
