A slow paced movie with some great but simple believable characters and stunning cinematography blends this movie into one of the great masterpieces. The story was not particularly of my liking but well it had something in it to capture the viewers to the last moment.
Was shot in b&w even though color was the norm of the day to capture the events of a sleepy town in the 50's. Movie is particularly renowned for the cybill strip and love affair of Sonny a high school senior with his gym instructor's old wife.
A very good watch with some great characters in a simple backdrop.
