Review of The Last Picture Show (1971) by Andrew R — 06 May 2011

This most seems highly overrated to me. Sure it accurately depicts sexually confused teenagers in a small town..but it lacked the substance most films revolving around teenage life have. The characters were for the most part unlikable, and the film really ended up making me pretty bored and uninterested.

Every element of this film has been done better before this movie, and since it. That being said it is not a bad movie its good but nothing spectacular.
