Review of The Last Picture Show (1971) by Bertn60 B — 27 Mar 2009
Excellent! A film that makes good use of it's many characters and some very good performances. I like the way the title represents a very small part of the film, but yet very effective. The closure of the cinema represents the end of an era and the end of a youthful outlook so often expressed in the first half of the film.
A cinematic triumph!
