A stirring score and its well directed as expected by mann. Day lewis is good. It just feels a bit like it plods along without being all that engaging or exciting. Its lacking a heart really, feels like it should grab you more but it doesnt.
Its a bit disappointing but also occasionally really good, its been done before though and much better. Its worth a watch though.
