Review of The Last of the Mohicans (1992) by Evan S — 07 Oct 2009
Last of The Mohicans may have excellent cinematography which is comparable to Lawrence of Arabia. Its costumes may be incredible. It may have a good score. But this film eventually is a dissappointment.
Daniel Day Lewis's character Hawkeye is not an interesting one. Madeline Stowe's performance is terrible even though her casting is good. This film is filled with typicalness espicially the scenes.
However, the battle scenes are incredible which I have never seen before. Magua is a truly interesting character. The film is cathcy at several points. The problem is that I had expected too much from this film.
That is the main reason I call this film dissappointing.
