Review of The Last of the Mohicans (1992) by Rob D — 02 Apr 2010
Another Michael Mann masterpiece. Stunning cinematography and a great cast. Daniel Day-Lewis is a standout as always but also notable is Wes Studi as the hellbent for revenge Magua. Captures the pre-revolutionary France vs.
Britain colonial period not just in great battle scenes but also in the impact on the lives of the native tribes and colonists alike.
