This is the one. My favorite film of all time. Well ok maybe itâ??s tied with â??Leaving Las Vegasâ?? as my favorite. Every scene is perfect. Michael Mannâ??s best film and he has made many great oneâ??s (Heat, The Insider, Collateral).
The acting is superb. Daniel Day Lewis transformed into character as weâ??ve come to expect. The score is brilliant with the violin stirring your spirit. As a drama itâ??s as perfect as any Academy Award winner & as an action film itâ??s much better than the blockbusters that rule the box office in the summer months.
I fell in love with this movie years ago as a kid when it came out back in 1992. Iâ??ve seen it several times since & my passion for it is as strong as the first time I viewed it. The perfect film.
10/10 from me.
