Review of The Last of the Mohicans (1992) by Sherry R — 03 Nov 2013
Hard choices- fight the future or adapt to it- collide with beliefs and loyalties while people are also busy surviving. The best way may be carried out by those with ill intent while the rebel individualists face a fading romantic frontier.
Somehow American territories were staked on such contradictory impulses, and it is futile to think good or bad of such knotted fibers. Wow Michael Mann used to be a great filmmaker, and this film is better than Unforgiven (also from 1992).
