Sublime. A canonised American epic wrought large. No CGI props, just beautiful acting and divine scenery wrapped around a historical narrative. Within this, a story of love and sacrifice set to a rousing score by Trevor Jones and Randy Edelman.
It is a movie that is never forgotten.
