Definitely too complex for a kids movie. They might enjoy it..but mine found it a little more scary than fun. I really liked it. Rainn Wilson did a good job...but Joely Richardson (Nip/Tuck) still can't act.
The kids were ok. Overall, the movie reminded me of ET the Extraterrestrial.
