Review of The Last Mimzy (2007) by Aaron H — 24 Jun 2010
This is a slow but interesting story. The mother and father are realistically portrayed (emotion vs. logic - and Hutton was excellent). There is some great music and effects combined with a solid concept.
It does seem like it would have been a more effective animated special (60 minutes with commercials) instead of a feature film, yet was still entertaining. It's almost like a kids version of Donnie Darko.
