Not a bad movie. Not great, but worth seeing, if for no other reason than to gawk at Aishwarya Rai. She truly deserves the title "world's most beautiful woman," although her impossible beauty was somewhat out of place among the rest of the grubby and scruffy characters that made up the cast and extras.
And, for some reason, they had her clad in a form-fitting jumpsuit rather than a dress or other woman's clothing appropriate for the era. Don't expect historic accuracy or deep insights into love and life but this is a fun little movie.
