Review of The Last Legion (2007) by Tom C — 09 Jul 2008
An abomination of a movie. Must have had a reasonable budget but it is thorougly B-grade.
Bad lines, poor casting, historical innaccuracies abound a midst a host of WTFITS moments e.g. a female Indian pseudo-ninja plays a high ranking Byzantine bodyguard. It's a mess of a movie with a hodge podge of ideas taken from successful movies of both the fantasy and S&S genres such as LOTR, Gladiator and Henry V. Oh and it has no blood. GG. Even the Kiera Knightley version of the Arthurian legend whips this tragedy of a flick.
