Review of The Last Legion (2007) by Andreas O — 01 Dec 2010
Another arthurian lore meets roman history film, kind of like that horrid Bruckheimer movie. Given the choice between the two of them, though, I'd take this one. At least it doesn't ask the viewer to take it seriously.
Many have compared it to the LotR movies and I can see why, with a Two Towers-esque battle and some mythical elements. The history parts are quite corrupted, of course, but there are some cute parts that catch your attention.
Silly but watchable.
