A refreshing (if a tad depressing) look at the life of a group of quirky people at the thick end of 30.
Braff, Bilson and Barrett are great, but Wilkinson is the stand-out with his quietly confident and measured performance. The story feels unique as none of the characters are perfect and there's nobody who is really right or wrong. As such there is no "happily ever after" (well, not in the usual Hollywood way), which is both a pleasant surprise and a bit of a slap in the face!
If you want to see a realistic portrayal of relationships, this is the film for you. However, if you want to have a good time or swept up in a magic of cinema, then best avoid this!
