Although i'm in my forties and have heard a lot about Idi Amin on the news, I didn't really know much about his story. This film is from the scottish doctor's point of view.....and I found the movie quite fascinating. Forest Whitaker was very believable, I can't see how anyone could have played the part better. Also James Mcavoy (an unknown actor to me) was also outstanding. I wasn't expecting the scenes near the end, although they didn't surprise me....all in all a very fine piece of entertainment and slice of history to savia.
