Violent remake of the horror classic but lacking the sinister vindictiveness of the original. Made for an almost extremely violent thriller movie which just about stands alone as a film, rather than a horror movie.
I would like to have seen the final scene extended to make it a more interesting twist on the original. Instead it was a very stupid and unnecessary sequence.
