Having never seen the original, I had no idea what to expect so I have no comparisons to add. The film was in short, awful. To begin with, it seemed to just be a badly made horror film that seemed intent on adding every scene with a close up of a teenagers underwear or bra.The acting and story line left much to be desired and was almost comical in it's attempt to connect to the audience. The rape scene started and I switched it off ,so I can not offer any more insight to what the rest of the movie was like.
Awful, wish I hadn't seen it. If the story had a bit more to offer, I may have suffered through another 10 mins or so to see what happened but I couldn't see the movie being likeable any time soon.
