Review of The Last House on the Left (1972) by Nick F — 29 Mar 2009
Definitely a grindhouse 'B-movie'. I would not consider it a horror film by any means, but rather one that disturbs you beyond what you thought was possible for a movie of its time. Good starting point for Wes Craven and definitely gets you prepared for his later work- watch this one on YouTube, but I wouldn't rent it or even think about buying it.
Excited for the remake, though.
