Impressive debut by Wes Craven although a remake of Virgin Spring it adds it's own elements that makes it's own thing. The thing that makes this movie so creepy is the music which is so upbeat which is rather disturbing especially with the story of two girls being embarrassed, tortured, raped and murdered by a group of psychopaths and how the low budget look of the film makes it all more disturbing, oh and let's not forgetting about the twist in the middle of the film.
