Review of The Last House on the Left (1972) by Angus M — 24 Feb 2013
Tonally inconsistent mess, goes from shocking exploitation one moment, to goofy, albeit unfunny satire the next. Amateurish acting, photography and editing - Wes Craven's directorial debut seems inauspicious, but the film has cult status.
Appalling soundtrack.
