Review of The Last House on the Left (1972) by Simon W — 29 Jun 2009
While the story is compelling, it falls flat on SO many levels. Most notably acting and directing. Terrible on both fronts. The best points of this are completely raped (hehe) in the remake I was glad to hear of a remake, cause this needed one.
The remake falls flat, but not in a poorly done flat, just a "sell out for the ages" flat.
