Review of The Last House on the Left (1972) by Ken S — 08 Aug 2012

Some occasionally good moments can't save this ultimately bad first film from horror film legend Wes Craven. It feels pretty amateur in the way it was shot, the dialogue and story seems really poorly written all too often, the music selections can be mind-boggling, and the acting is weak across the board.

I didn't really get into this, but Craven has redeemed himself enough times in his career, in spite of this, and a few other, stinkers.
