Sure it broke new ground in the horror film genre, but from the creepy, incestious father-daughter relationship, to the abysmal acting, there isn't anything here that warrants revisiting. A museum piece at best. As a movie, awful.
Random Thought - This may be the only horror remake that can't possibly be worse than the original.
