Review of The Last House on the Left (1972) by Lucy T — 05 Oct 2009
I saw this movie after reading how utterly disturbing it was. It maybe the fact that my generation is becoming more and more immune to what was considered revolting in the 70's but I just simply did not get this movie.
I saw the remake and absolutely loved it. I enjoy movies that leave me feeling disturbed and repulsed and after watching this I simply felt bored. I give it a 20% based on concept alone but know Wes could have done better.
