I really liked the almost unfinished feel of the movie. It's almost like I can't tell if Craven meant for it to look crappy or if it just turned out that way, either way it works. For a movie that's from 40 years ago, boundaries are pushed pretty far, maybe farther than any horror flick had ever done before.
